Faye Kirby Signs New Liverpool Contract

Liverpool FC Women goalkeeper Faye Kirby has signed a new contract with the club.
The 21-year-old Scouser, who joined Liverpool from Everton in September 2022, has agreed fresh terms to extend her stay at the AXA Melwood Training Centre.
Kirby made her senior debut just two months after arriving, starting in a League Cup win over Blackburn Rovers. She went on to make five appearances in total, including three in the Barclays Women’s Super League during the 2022/23 season. She was later named the team’s Young Player of the Year.

An England youth international, Kirby joined Aberdeen on loan ahead of the 2023/24 campaign but suffered an ACL injury that cut her season short. She returned to action in early 2025, featuring for the U21s in a friendly before rejoining the senior matchday squad.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Kirby said:
It feels great to get it over the line. Obviously, there have been talks behind the scenes for quite a while now. So, I’m just over the moon to get it done and get going now.
I feel like we’ve got a strong [goalkeeping] group. At the end of the day, there’s only one shirt, but we’re going to push each other. Whoever gets that starting position has obviously earned it, so we’re just there to support.
