Rio Ngumoha Becomes Liverpool’s Youngest Ever Goalscorer

Rio Ngumoha made an instant mark on Monday as he became Liverpool’s youngest-ever goalscorer.
The 16-year-old forward, just four days short of his 17th birthday, came off the bench and scored in the 10th minute of stoppage time to secure a dramatic 3-2 win at Newcastle United.
His goal surpassed the previous record held by Ben Woodburn, who was 17 years and 45 days old when he scored against Leeds United in November 2016.
Ngumoha only joined Liverpool last September. He became the second-youngest appearance-maker in club history and set a record as the youngest FA Cup debutant when he started against Accrington Stanley.
