Arne Slot Nominated For 2025 Men’s Team Coach Of The Year

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has been shortlisted for the 2025 Men’s Team Coach of the Year award, part of the prestigious Ballon d’Or honours.
The Dutchman is among five nominees for the Cruyff Trophy after a remarkable debut season at Anfield, where he led Liverpool to the Premier League title with four games to spare.

Slot’s impact was immediate, guiding the Reds to their 20th league crown in his first year in charge. His efforts were already recognised earlier this year when he won the LMA Manager of the Year award.
He now joins Antonio Conte (Napoli), Luis Enrique (PSG), Hansi Flick (Barcelona), and Enzo Maresca (Chelsea) in contention for the top coaching prize, which will be presented at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris on September 22.
