Ben Doak Wins EFL Young Player of the Month

Ben Doak, the talented Liverpool loanee to Middlesbrough, has been honoured with the EFL Young Player of the Month award in recognition of his remarkable performances throughout November.
At just 19 years old, Doak registered five assists for Michael Carrick’s high-scoring Boro side, playing a crucial role in dominant victories over Queens Park Rangers, Luton Town, Oxford United, and Hull City. His flair and vision on the field were integral to his team’s impressive results, and his contribution went far beyond mere statistics, demonstrating a maturity beyond his years.
“I had a great time, and I’m happy to contribute to the team in whatever way I can,” he said. “It’s nice to be acknowledged for my performances, but I couldn’t have achieved it without the support of my teammates.”
Doak’s brilliant form wasn’t limited to domestic duties, as he continued to shine on the international stage. He was named Player of the Match after Scotland’s 1-0 UEFA Nations League victory over Croatia, before once again showcasing his skills in a 2-1 triumph over Poland just a few days later.
