Darwin Nunez Completes £46m Move From Liverpool To Al Hilal

Liverpool have confirmed the sale of Darwin Nunez to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal on a permanent deal.
The Uruguayan striker, who joined the Reds in 2022, has completed a move to Saudi Arabia for a reported £56.6m. Nunez originally arrived from Benfica for an initial £64m, with add-ons taking the total fee to £85m.
During his three seasons at Anfield, he made 143 appearances and scored 40 goals in all competitions.

His departure could boost Liverpool’s bid to sign Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak, after their opening £110m offer plus add-ons was rejected. The Magpies are believed to be holding out for around £150m, while Isak is currently training alone as his future remains uncertain.
Liverpool have already added Hugo Ekitike to their squad this summer in a £69m move from Eintracht Frankfurt, beating Newcastle to the signing.
