Ex-Girlfriend Sues Liverpool Player for £4.5m — Report

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister is reportedly being sued by his former partner Camila Mayan for £4.5 million, following their split after the 2022 World Cup.
According to the Daily Mail, Mayan is demanding £185,000 for every month she spent living abroad with Mac Allister, which totals up to around £4.5m over two years. She claims the Argentine dumped her to pursue a new relationship with Ailen Cova, with whom he is now expecting a child.
Mac Allister, 26, joined Liverpool from Brighton in 2023 and has been a key part of the Reds’ Premier League-winning squad. He made 49 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals and providing six assists.
The report adds that after the split, Mayan was removed from the UK once Mac Allister began his relationship with Cova. She’s now taking legal action, and the court has ruled the case will be heard in England, a blow to the lifestyle influencer’s hopes of moving the process elsewhere.
Speaking to A la Tarde, Mayan said her team is weighing up their next steps:

“Everything’s fine, we’re seeing what we do next. Before going elsewhere, there are other options. You don’t necessarily have to go directly… I’ll see what I do.”
“We all know that things in the courts can take a long time, so it’s normal, right? I don’t have any contacts in the courts, I don’t know them.”
Mac Allister is currently on an off-season break but is expected to be back with Liverpool when they take on Preston in their first pre-season friendly on July 13.
