Harvey Elliott Sends Clear Message on Liverpool Future Amid Exit Talk

Harvey Elliott has made it clear he wants to remain at Liverpool this summer and for many years to come, but the 22-year-old admits his future isn’t entirely in his hands.

The midfielder, who joined the Reds at just 16, has featured in 143 matches and scored 14 goals so far. But his progress this season under new head coach Arne Slot has stalled slightly, with only 14 Premier League appearances  and just two of those lasting more than 30 minutes.

That lack of game time has fuelled speculation over a possible exit. Multiple sources report that Elliott could consider a move away if opportunities remain limited.

“I hope that I can push on [next season],” Elliott said, who went on to explain his wish to ‘fight’ for his Liverpool future.

“This is my team, I am committed to them and it’s just a situation that is always going to have a lot of talk, I just need to think about what is best for my future, my career and as much as I want it to be here.

“You never know what is going to happen around the corner. If I had it my way, that would be here, I would play each and every game here and stay here for the rest of my career but it all depends on managers, the people above and as I said you don’t know what could happen but as far as I am aware I am here, here to stay and this is the club I want to be at.”

While a summer decision looms, Elliott’s love for Liverpool is clear  and he’s ready to fight for his place at Anfield.
