Liverpool Player Ratings vs Burnley as Reds Maintain 100% Record

Liverpool secured another dramatic late win against Burnley, but it was far from easy. Burnley’s defence kept the Reds’ creative players quiet for most of the game, and several Liverpool stars had to fight hard to make an impact.

Here’s how each Liverpool player performed in a tight 1-0 victory.

Alisson Becker – 6
Didn’t have a save to make in the first half and distribution was good. Pretty much the same after the break.

Dominik Szoboszlai – 7
Did everything required defensively in the first half but didn’t make an impact on the front foot. Moved into midfield in the second half and added more dynamism, including a long-distance shot well saved.

Ibrahima Konate – 8
Won almost all duels and cleared plenty of danger down the right-hand side. Subbed in the 87th minute as Liverpool pushed for a breakthrough.

Virgil van Dijk – 7
Got away with a loose pass that led to Burnley’s best first-half chance but recovered well to stop Lyle Foster. Snuffed out another counter in the second half.

Milos Kerkez – 4
Booked for what was deemed a dive and later committed another foul. Replaced in the 38th minute after walking a disciplinary tightrope.

Ryan Gravenberch – 8
Beat Burnley’s press several times and offered defensive cover. Volleyed just over in the second half and saw plenty of the ball.

Alexis Mac Allister – 5
Gave away a few early passes but recovered from a rash challenge. Replaced at half-time as he still doesn’t look fully fit.
