“An Example For Others” – Mo Salah Sends Emotional Message To Luis Díaz After Bayern Move

Mo Salah has paid tribute to Luis Díaz following the Colombian’s departure from Liverpool, describing him as both “inspiring” and “an example for others.”
Luis Díaz officially joined Bayern Munich earlier this week in a deal worth €75 million, bringing an end to his memorable three-and-a-half-year spell at Anfield.
The 28-year-old played a key role in Liverpool’s recent success, including last season’s Premier League title win under Arne Slot. But after interest from Bayern and with two years left on his contract, the Reds decided to let him move on.
Salah took to social media to share an emotional farewell message, thanking his former teammate for his passion and character, both on and off the pitch.
Your energy, drive, and passion on the pitch have left a mark that won’t be forgotten,” Salah wrote.

As a teammate, you were more than reliable, you were inspiring. As a friend, even more so.

The Egyptian also referenced Díaz’s strength during difficult times. The forward missed several months through injury and faced personal tragedy when both his parents were kidnapped in Colombia last year.

What you went through would’ve broken most, but you came back strong and gave everything for the club,” Salah added. That kind of resilience sets an example for others and earns nothing but respect. Wishing you all the best for what’s next, Lucho.
Díaz leaves Liverpool with 41 goals to his name, and one controversial disallowed goal against Tottenham — across 148 appearances. He won the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Community Shield during his time on Merseyside.
Salah’s message sums up how much he meant to the dressing room, both as a player and a person.
