Liverpool Issues Warning to Fans Over Carabao Cup Final Tickets

Liverpool FC has issued a strong warning to fans, urging them to only purchase Carabao Cup final tickets from the club’s official channels.

The Reds face Newcastle United at Wembley on Sunday, March 16, and the club has emphasized that it is the only official seller of LFC tickets for the final.

“Supporters should be aware that ticket checks will be carried out on the day, and if a ticket is found to have been resold, the holder may be denied entry,” the club stated. Liverpool FC also warned that it cannot assist fans who are refused entry after buying tickets from unofficial sellers.

The ticket sales process begins on Wednesday, February 12. Fans can purchase tickets through the club’s official platform:  Tickets Details Here.

Digital ticketing will be used for all fans, a system successfully implemented during the 2024 final. Supporters must download tickets to their smartphones via their ticketing accounts.

“Tickets are strictly non-transferable and cannot be distributed to other supporters,” the club added. Fans are encouraged to report any instances of ticket touting or fraud anonymously through the club’s official reporting tool: Report Ticket Fraud Here.

Liverpool FC has taken a hard stance against ticket fraud, issuing 75 lifetime bans and 136 indefinite suspensions last season alone. The club has also shut down nearly 100,000 fake ticketing accounts and continues to invest in anti-touting measures.

“If a supporter is found to have offered a ticket for sale online, it could result in a lifetime ban,” the club reiterated.

Fans are reminded to stay vigilant and only purchase Carabao Cup final tickets through Liverpool FC’s official platform to avoid disappointment and potential fraud.
