Liverpool to Hold Premier League Title Parade on May 26

Liverpool have confirmed a victory parade will be held in the city on May 26 after Arne Slot’s side secured the club’s 20th league title.

The Reds clinched the Premier League trophy with a 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday, moving 15 points clear at the top and making it mathematically impossible for second-placed Arsenal to catch them, even with four games left.

Following the triumph, Liverpool City Council leader Councillor Liam Robinson officially invited the club to take part in a city-wide parade, with the invitation accepted by Liverpool FC.

The open-top bus parade will start at 2:30 p.m. BST on Bank Holiday Monday, the day after Liverpool’s final league fixture at home to Crystal Palace. The 15-kilometre route will begin at Allerton Maze in the south of the city and head north, travelling along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street, and The Strand, before finishing at Blundell Street.

The parade is expected to last between three and five hours, though timings are subject to change. Supporters have been urged to plan ahead and line the full route, with flares and pyrotechnics strictly prohibited for safety reasons.

City Council leader Robinson said: “A Liverpool victory parade is more than football — it’s a celebration of our city’s pride, passion and community spirit. It’s set to be an unforgettable Bank Holiday weekend as we give the team the celebration they deserve.”
