Mo Salah & Mac Allister Up for 2025 PFA Honours

Mo Salah and Alexis Mac Allister have both been shortlisted for the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award after playing key roles in Liverpool’s Premier League title-winning season.
Salah is chasing history with this nomination. The Egyptian king, who ended the season with 29 goals and 18 assists, is hoping to become the first-ever player to win the award three times, having already claimed it in 2017/18 and 2021/22. He was also recently named Premier League Player of the Season.

Midfield maestro Mac Allister joins him on the list. The Argentine was a vital cog in Arne Slot’s engine room, contributing five goals and five assists across the campaign while dictating play and helping Liverpool dominate big games.
The other names on the six-man shortlist are Bruno Fernandes (Man United), Alexander Isak (Newcastle), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), and Declan Rice (Arsenal).
Fernandes registered eight goals and ten assists for a United side that endured a tough season but still finished 8th and won the FA Cup. Isak shone for Newcastle with 27 goals in 42 games, while Rice played a big role in Arsenal’s title challenge.
The winners of the PFA awards voted for by fellow players will be revealed at a ceremony in Manchester on August 19.
