Andy Robertson pens emotional farewell to Trent ahead of final day

Andy Robertson has shared a heartfelt message to Trent Alexander-Arnold ahead of Liverpool’s final game of the season, hinting at what he hopes will happen next for his long-time teammate.
The Scotland captain took to Instagram to praise Trent, calling it a privilege to watch his journey over the past eight years.
“It has been an absolute privilege watching you grow from a boy to a man over these last 8 years,” Robbo wrote.

“You have won it all and created amazing memories… I hope all the hard work you have put into this club, the moments you have given us and the massive contribution you have made are recognised as they should be.”
The 31-year-old also admitted that Trent will be a huge loss.
“You are going to be a huge miss around the training ground and an even bigger miss on the pitch.”
With Trent responding, “My brother, memories to last a lifetime, thank you for everything. One last dance,” it feels like Sunday could be a goodbye moment for the duo.
The vice-captain didn’t feature in our recent win over Brighton, and it’s unclear if he’ll get minutes against Crystal Palace. The reaction he got during his last Anfield appearance may also play a part in the manager’s thinking.
Joe Gomez’s return could mean a late cameo for Trent if Conor Bradley is subbed, but nothing is guaranteed.
