Liverpool Confirm Fabian Mrozek’s Loan Move to Forest Green Rovers

Liverpool have confirmed the departure of goalkeeper Fabian Mrozek to Forest Green Rovers on a temporary move for the remainder of the season.

The 21-year-old, who has yet to make a senior appearance for the Reds, will now have the opportunity to gain first-team experience in the National League.

Mrozek, a Polish youth international, has been with Liverpool since 2020, progressing through the academy ranks. With limited chances at Anfield, the club has decided to give him a spell away from the club to secure regular game time. His loan move was officially confirmed by Liverpool, and he has already been named in Forest Green’s starting lineup for their match against Dagenham and Redbridge.

This move comes at a vital time for Forest Green, who are pushing for promotion back to the EFL. Currently sitting third in the National League, they will be hoping Mrozek can strengthen their goalkeeping options in the crucial months ahead. His performances will be closely monitored by Liverpool, who have seen other academy goalkeepers like Caoimhin Kelleher and Vitezslav Jaros progress after similar loan spells.

For Mrozek, this is a key opportunity to prove himself and potentially earn a future role at Liverpool or elsewhere. With regular game time on the horizon, he will look to follow the footsteps of other academy products who have made successful transitions to professional football.
