Liverpool player ratings vs Everton: Salah Shines, Gakpo Flops

Liverpool player ratings vs Everton saw Mohamed Salah deliver yet again, but the Reds were left frustrated after a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park.

James Tarkowski’s late equaliser denied Liverpool a crucial win, with some players stepping up and others failing to deliver.

Here’s how the Reds rated:

Alisson Becker – 7/10
Couldn’t do much about either goal and made a couple of key saves, including a crucial intervention just before halftime. Composed as always, but couldn’t prevent the late equaliser.

Conor Bradley – 5.5/10
Struggled defensively and was lucky to avoid a second yellow card. Hooked off early in the second half after a nervy performance.

Ibrahima Konaté – 6.5/10
Solid for the most part but was caught out for Beto’s opener. Recovered well but will be disappointed with the late collapse.

Virgil van Dijk – 6/10
Uncharacteristically shaky at times, especially against Beto’s physicality. Couldn’t organise the defence to see out the win.

Andy Robertson – 6/10
Worked hard but was targeted by Everton’s attack. Picked up a yellow card and was subbed off to avoid further trouble.

Ryan Gravenberch – 6/10
Struggled to influence the game in a scrappy midfield battle. Subbed off after an hour as Liverpool looked for more control.

Alexis Mac Allister – 8/10
Scored the equaliser and controlled the midfield with his passing and composure. A classy performance in a chaotic game.

Dominik Szoboszlai – 7/10
Full of energy and caused problems with his movement. Came close to scoring with a thunderous effort in the first half.

Mohamed Salah – 8/10
Set a Premier League record for away goal involvements (23) with a goal and an assist. A constant threat and Liverpool’s standout performer.

Cody Gakpo – 5/10
Ineffective and subbed off early. Failed to make an impact in attack and looked out of sync with the team.

Luis Díaz – 6/10
Worked hard but lacked end product. Improved in the second half but couldn’t find the decisive moment.

Substitutes:
Trent Alexander-Arnold (on for Bradley, 60′) – 7/10
Added composure and creativity after coming on. Helped Liverpool gain control in midfield.

Curtis Jones (on for Gravenberch, 60′) – 6.5/10
Lively and involved in Salah’s goal, but lost his head after the final whistle and was sent off.

Kostas Tsimikas (on for Robertson, 69′) – 6/10
Did his job defensively but offered little going forward.

Darwin Núñez (on for Gakpo, 69′) – 7/10
Added energy and caused problems with his direct running. A solid impact off the bench.

Diogo Jota (on for Díaz, 89′) – 6.5/10
Looked sharp in his brief cameo but didn’t have enough time to make a difference.

Manager: Arne Slot – 6/10
His substitutions added energy, but Liverpool couldn’t hold on for the win. His red card after the final whistle summed up a frustrating night.
