“Tottenham Will Draw at Anfield” – Gary Neville Predicts Carabao Cup Semi-Final

Liverpool will face Tottenham tonight in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final, and the stakes are high. Tottenham leads 1-0 from the first leg, and the Reds need to win by at least two goals to progress to the final at Wembley.
Although Liverpool is the favourite to win this competition, they are focused on the Premier League and the Champions League, with many expecting them to perform well tonight.
Tottenham, on the other hand, is struggling in the Premier League, sitting 14th in the table. A cup win could be the key to salvaging their season, and with manager Ange Postecoglou under pressure, this could be Spurs’ best chance at silverware in years.
Gary Neville, speaking on It’s Called Soccer, made a bold prediction ahead of the match. Despite Liverpool being the favourites, Neville believes Tottenham will manage to get a draw at Anfield, which would see them through to the final. “I think Tottenham are going to get a draw. I don’t know how they’re going to get a draw at Anfield, but I feel like it’s going to be an emotional, mad night where something happens,” Neville said.
Neville added that while he might not completely rely on what Postecoglou has said, he has a gut feeling that Tottenham could win the Carabao Cup this season. “I’ve just got a feeling Tottenham could win the Carabao Cup this season. I feel like Tottenham are going to get a draw by hook or by crook.”
The pundit also predicted that Mathys Tel, who made a dramatic move to Tottenham on deadline day, would score in the game. Neville was asked to predict a goal-scorer, and he said, “I’m going for the new boy, Tel.”
Spurs fans will be hoping that Tel makes an immediate impact in his debut and that his career at Tottenham will be more like Mousa Dembele’s, who became a star at the club, than the disappointing careers of some other high-profile signings in recent years.
This promises to be an exciting and emotional night, with both teams fighting hard for a place in the Carabao Cup final.
